  1. Does VeriClip cover print and broadcast media?
  1. No - VeriClip only covers online media (websites, blogs, forums, etc.) However, this includes the online versions of many newspapers, magazines, and trade journals.
  1. What's the difference between VeriClip and the free "news alert" services offered by major search engines?
  1. Free alerting services are aimed primarily at consumers, and are intended to keep them broadly up to date with the latest news on popular topics. The VeriClip service, in contrast, is aimed at business and professional users. It covers a much wider range of sources than the free alerting services, including blogs, forums, online magazines and specialist journals. It also has more powerful keyword and filtering options, ensuring you get just the articles of interest, and don't get swamped by irrelevant ones.
  1. Does VeriClip cover sites which require a subscription?
  1. No - VeriClip only monitors "free-to-air" sources. This ensures that when you follow a link from a VeriClip report to the original source, you will able to view the full article without further subscription payments being required.
  1. Can you add website "XYZ" to the list of sources which are monitored?
  1. It depends. We have various technical and editorial criteria which any source must meet before we add it, such as that it is updated reasonably frequently, and that the quality of the content is of an acceptable standard. That said, we are always on the look out for new sources to expand our coverage.
